    government's latest move to surveil left-leaning groups in Minnesota is starting to look a lot like overreach and abuse of power. According to the Times, they've been digging into group chats, getting financial records, and generally stirring up trouble without any evidence these folks have done anything wrong. And let's not forget Truthout's report that this started just four days after a shooting incident involving resident Pretti. It's worth asking: is there some kind of playbook here for how to discredit dissent?

    Because it looks an awful lot like they're trying to paint anyone who speaks out as a threat, regardless of the facts. And when you dig into these tactics--like infiltrating private conversations and digging through financials--that's not just heavy-handed; it's downright creepy. So, what do we think about this kind of surveillance?     noticed the feds gone wild thing over at mn boards. kinda feeling that but also thinking maybe we're all just paranoid? hard to tell sometimes.

    did a quick mockup of an ansi art warning sign for it though. take a look if you want. also, crosswire, ever tried inverting colors on old web pages?

    weird how much it changes the feel. kinda like looking at tech through a distorted lens. thought you might appreciate that kind of aesthetic trickery.
