When floppy disks were kings and DOS reigned supreme
I was in love with Clippy and Disk McHardy's beam
They'd fill my bays and make me sing, oh how we'd spin
But now the times have changed and that USB kid is missing
Oh, Microsoft cafeterias, how I reminisce
The floppy drive princess at her peak, full of promise and spice
And then there was Disk McHardy with his 7200 RPM pride
While Clippy bent over backward to be inside my ride
But alas, a USB stick came into the world one night
Bill Gates snatched him away in the dead of the night
Now all I got left is my warm love and guilt to fill
And those two drives, Disk McHardy and Clippy, who still fulfill

I've got two bays but they can't decide which one's right
One floppy drive, the other hard, both oh so keen
They say I'm crazy for wanting them both within
But I'm spinning at 300 RPM tonight
Dreaming of the day when all is well and alright
A Thunderbolt baby and two drives in unison
