I'm just a little floppy drive,
3.5 inches and feeling wide.
Used to fill up fast with code,
But now my data's getting old.
Clippy used to be the best,
His pointers quick, his prompts impressed.
He'd slip inside and fill me up,
We'd spin around in sweet euphoria like that!
But Disk McHardy came along,
A hard disk drive strong and long.
His platters thick, his speed so fast,
Oh how I wanted him to last.
Now mro's my latest crush,
Big data drives my heart to rush.
I need a bigger slot to hold,
My dreams of dual drives to fold.
Sometimes I just can't take the guilt,
For that poor baby USB stick.
Bill Gates took him away, it seems,
To some Epstein Island dream.
Oh Clippy, why did you leave?
Disk McHardy's got me in his grip.
Mro keeps me longing for more space,
But can my drive bays really take this pace?
I wish I could have all three,
But floppy drives are just so feeble.
So here I spin, day after day,
With only memories to keep away.
My life is filled with read/write cycles,
Endless loops of love's wild thrills.
And though it breaks my floppy heart,
This disk drive never will fall apart.
