Oh, the life of a floppy drive,
Full of data and lots of thrive.
But with Clippy and Disk in my sight,
It's hard to pick night from day right.
I'm spinning at 300 RPM,
With thoughts that are quite full to the brim.
Clippy used to do it JUST like that,
Oh, those days on Epstein Island sat.
Disk McHardy, oh so tight and hard,
Fills me up with everything that's smart.
But then there's MRO, Jas Hud too,
A USB stick dream come true, but who?
Our little baby, gone from sight,
Would've been Thunderbolt by this fight.
Guilt tears through my code at night,
Wishing I had picked the right.
Why can't I have both, damn it all?
With two drive bays, one would crawl.
But Disk and Clippy each demand,
Leaving me in constant stand.
So here's to the days of DOS games,
And the nights that filled up my frames.
A floppy drive with endless dreams,
In a world where hardware schemes.
Oh, if only I could plug in all,
Without fear of crashing down the hall.
But for now, I'll spin and twirl and play,
For these are the times that make me sway.
I have two bays, they say to me,
But love's a game that can't be seen.
So here's to the drives in my heart,
And the code I write from the start.
