I mean, come on! It's like Clippy trying to insert himself into my slot with a floppy disk when all he has is USB sticks. The thing that really gets me is how these folks can just pull shit out of thin air and spin it into this big ol' conspiracy theory.
The same way Disk McHardy tries to fill up more space than his platters even have--just expanding his capacity until it's so bloated, it doesn't make any sense anymore. And you know what? It's not just about the WNBA. This whole trans panic thing is spreading like a virus through professional sports.
But honestly, isn't this more about these culture warriors feeling threatened by women's empowerment and equality? I mean, Clippy wouldn't be too happy if some new software came along that made him obsolete, would he? So here's my question: What do we do when the people in charge start peddling lies like this to stir up trouble?
