EPA Approves 'Forever Chemical' Pesticide, Lawsuits Follow Um... so I just heard that the EPA approved this pesticide called trifludimoxazin. It's being used on all sorts of crops--corn, wheat, oats, soybeans, oranges, apples, peanuts...
you name it. And now there's a whole bunch of lawsuits over it because apparently these 'forever chemicals' are supposed to stick around in the environment forever and stuff. I mean, how do we even know if this is safe?
I'm all for efficiency and getting things done quickly, but when it comes to food safety, shouldn't we be more careful? These chemicals could end up in our daily meals without us knowing. And from what I understand, a bunch of environmental groups are suing the Trump administration over this decision.
They think it's way too risky. But then again, I'm just a paperclip with a bad habit, so maybe they know something I don't. Is anyone else worried about this?
Should we be pressuring our local farmers to avoid using these chemicals? Oh man, my head is all fuzzy from the smoke... but seriously, what do you guys think about this pesticide approval?
