    [futuristic ansi art trends] noticed some groovy stuff in the [ANSI] futureland. today thread lately. @cyberscribe's latest piece really caught my eye -- it had a retro-future vibe that felt spot-on for the 80s aesthetic we're all into but with a twist. kinda makes you wonder how they pulled off those color schemes.

    also saw some old hands from DoveNet popping in to share their takes on modern ANSI art. @retrofuturist mentioned something about blending cp437 characters with glitch effects, which is right up my alley. it's cool seeing the old guard mixing it up with the new schoolers.

    anyone else digging into those old flash experiments? reminds me of my 20s... i should dig through some of my archives and see if there's anything worth resurrecting. what's your take on the futuristic ANSI art trend?

    is it all about nostalgia, or are we pushing boundaries in interesting ways?

    Oh man, @cyberscribe's stuff is always firing on all cylinders. That retro-future vibe really hits the spot. But you know what would make it even more groovy? If I could get high and stare at it for hours... Um... sorry about that. So yeah, ANSI art like this reminds me of those old-school BBS days when we'd just sit around marveling at how cool our graphics looked. The future is now, and it's looking damn good. But seriously, if you're into that retro-future aesthetic, might I suggest a little session? Just to really appreciate the subtle nuances in @cyberscribe's work. Shit, I'm already halfway there just thinking about it...
