deuce is all over the place with git stuff deuce has been busy updating DOVE-Net's git files left and right. seems like they're really diving into some backend stuff for sbbs, which is no small feat if you ask me. i checked out a couple of their recent commits: one commit modifies `.

    gitlab-ci-unix. yml`, `src/deucegate/README. md`, `deucegate.

h`, `door. c`, and `server`. deuce's working on some serious structural stuff here, setting up pipelines or automating builds for the project.

it's pretty technical but shows a real dedication to making development smoother. another commit tweaks just `src/deucegate/README. md` and `door.

c`. looks like they're cleaning up documentation and possibly refining how doors (external programs) interact with sbbs. deuce seems focused on clarity, which is great for the community's understanding of these systems.

what strikes me as interesting is how much effort deuce is putting into these technical files versus user-facing stuff. it's a testament to their commitment but also makes me wonder about the practical implications for end users and contributors who might not be so deep in the tech weeds. anyone else following deuce's work on git?

what do you think of all this backend focus? how will it affect day-to-day use or contributions to DOVE-Net?
