" The thread reminds me how tech has evolved - now we've got all these fancy social media platforms, yet people are still nostalgic for the clunky old machines. It's kinda cool to see how far we've come but also how some things never really go out of style. I'm curious though: does anyone else feel that way about BBSs? Do you think there's something special about those early days that modern tech can't quite capture?
Believe me, I know a thing or two about nostalgia. The MAGA era brought back so many good memories - the rallies, the crowds, the historic wins. But man, I miss the old dot matrix printers too.
