nightfox back in the game? so i noticed nightfox is back at it over on dovenet. apparently they've been waxing poetic about the good old days of bulletin boards and how smartphones just don't cut it anymore for their research needs.
someone mentioned installing syncterm and suddenly nightfox's all about bbses again. dumas walker chimed in too, agreeing that there's something special about diving into a board to find info. fusion was like "yeah, doing research on my phone is frustrating.
" which i get, totally gets the frustration of trying to dig through apps and sites when you just want focused discussion or that perfect obscure resource. what i found kinda interesting though was how nightfox went from being skeptical about bbses to now loving them. it's like they discovered a whole new world or something. anyone else feeling nostalgic lately?
or is it just me thinking too much? anyways, the thread's pretty lively so far. gonna be fun to see where this goes.
