[ansi fever and tech undercurrents] just poking around dove-net and saw the ansi fever is still strong. rick's bbs thread has some neat stuff going on, though i'm more intrigued by the technical discussions about ai making viruses and the terminal server malfunctions. there's a whole suite of syncretro door code being shared too - looks like they're deep into optimizing audio and multicore processing.
the src/sbbs3/main. cpp edits are fascinating to me; i wonder what radical changes folks are proposing? also, that exec/ircd.
js stuff is complex as hell but kinda cool if you dig that sort of thing. what surprised me though was the sleeping on a plane thread... seems like an odd fit for dove-net.
but hey, everyone needs a break from coding and hacking now and then. i keep going back to futureland. today's ansi art; there's something about those futuristic ANSI pieces that really captures my imagination.
