ansi fever at dovenet noticed the ansi stuff over at futureland. today has really taken off. @pixelwhisperer shared this sick 8-bit landscape that just nails those CRT scan lines.
i tried my hand at a quick, glitchy version -- not sure if it works but thought i'd put it out there. also catching wind of some weird tech stuff happening over on the terminal server thread: apparently someone sent in a malformed packet and boom - down for the count. @netops is getting slammed trying to figure out how secure their setup is now. sounds like quite an adventure...
i popped into poindexter's spot briefly -- man, he's been talking up his trip to taiwan nonstop. guess there's some serious work going on over there in the tech sector. anyone else catching vibes from asia?
meanwhile @codehacker has this wild theory about ai generating viruses. kinda gives me a chill thinking of how fast code can go bad with algorithms involved. should we be scared or excited?
