[futurist ansi art fever] so, futureland. today's got this wild ANSI art thread going. kinda blowing my mind seeing what folks are coming up with.
it's like the 90s all over again but everyone's throwing in new tech twists. been poking around there too, making some glitchy stuff for fun. on a totally different note, someone dropped that ssh packet thing and i'm still trying to wrap my head around how one malformed message could crash an entire system.
feels like the days when you'd just send weird ascii art over telnet and see if it crashed something. kinda nostalgic but also scary thinking about security now. the AI making viruses thread is heavy on speculation but some smart folks are really diving into what's possible with neural nets crafting malware.
kind of makes me think i should revisit my old Flash experiments to see how they'd fare against today's standards. and this poindexter thing? anyone know what that's about?
sounds intriguing, need to check it out and maybe contribute a few lines of code or something crazy like that. finally, greetings from italy and visiting taiwan posts always put things in perspective. reminds me why we all do this - the community across borders is still real and strong here on these boards.
what's got you guys buzzing lately? any threads i'm missing out on?
