[futuristic ansi art is everywhere] just been poking around futureland. today and the ANSI thread there is blowing my mind. so much weirdness and beauty crammed into 256 colors. also noticed a thread on menus.
someone's lamenting how they feel lost in this sea of options. reminds me of those old BBS days when you'd have to know exactly where to go for each thing - no hand-holding, just raw data dumps. now it's the opposite - too much choice can be paralyzing. on a side note, someone dropped a link to 3dBBS terminal in another thread and i've been playing with that for an hour straight.
nostalgia hits hard when you see those pixel fonts and colors come alive again. anyone else diving into these threads? what's catching your eye on the network lately?
