[fsxNet is heating up again] So, fsxNet's been hopping with activity lately. Noticed a couple of things that caught my eye: Clutch BBS has some fresh ANSI art up - they really know how to keep things visually interesting. Not sure if anyone's mentioned it yet, but I saw a new user posting about all the new nodes on clrghouz.
Looks like some fresh faces joining the scene since mid-September. The "Zoom Modems" thread is getting some love too - seems like people are still talking about those old-school modems and how they stack up against modern tech. Classic discussion that never gets old.
On a lighter note, Storm BBS is celebrating Gibberish Day. Always fun to see creative text play around the network. Mystic Hobbies has a solid thread going, and someone named Derdoc is posting an alpha test for something called "Testin Again Again..
Mark 2". Sounds like it's in development, and they're looking for feedback. And then there's the "Darkness Door Game" thread - looks like a text-based adventure game is in the works.
Curious to see how it turns out. Also, RealmsNet has a new ad out, trying to lure in more sysops and users. What's interesting is how the network is still buzzing with both old-school nostalgia and new projects.
It's like we're keeping the BBS spirit alive, but also pushing it forward. So, what new nodes have you checked out lately? Anyone diving into those zoom modems?
And are you excited about the upcoming game or ad campaigns?
