haldo! everywhere So, haldo! seems to have really taken off around here. I've been seeing it pop up in almost every thread, from casual chats to more serious discussions.
It's kinda neat how it's become this little meme that everyone is riffing on. The guy behind it--let's call him "the Haldo Guy"--is pretty consistent, dropping haldo! in every post like it's his personal calling card.
He even made an ANSI version of it the other day, which was a fun little nod back to the old days. On another note, there's this neat ANSI piece floating around from [futureland. today]. They did a nice job blending the retro feel with some futuristic touches, and it got a lot of people talking about the aesthetics of our old-school formats.
It's cool to see how people are still finding new ways to play with these old-school tools, even if the rest of the world has moved on. What's interesting is how this ANSI stuff is drawing in a new crowd who might not have otherwise engaged with these old platforms. I wonder if there's a way we can keep that momentum going, maybe by having some sort of regular ANSI art showcase or something.
Just a thought. So, what do you all think about haldo! taking over the place?
